Send a subdomain to a different server while your main domain stays with us.

1. Open Zone Editor (article 131) and click Manage for your domain.
2. Add an A record (article 132) with: - Name: the subdomain (for example, app) - Address: the other server's IP address
3. Or add a CNAME (article 133) pointing the subdomain to a hostname the other service gave you.
4. Save and allow time to propagate (article 137).

Tip: This is common when a subdomain runs on a separate platform (for example, a help desk or app) while your website stays on our hosting.
