Keep your cPanel password strong and private.
- The simplest way: log in to your client area, open your hosting service, and look for a Change Password option.
- Or, inside cPanel, go to Preferences > Password & Security.
- Enter your current password, then a strong new password twice.
- Click Change your password now.
Important: Your cPanel password protects your entire website, email, and files. Use a long, unique password and update it if you suspect it's been exposed.
