Status codes (EPP statuses) tell you the current state of your domain.

• clientTransferProhibited — Registrar Lock is on; the domain can't be transferred until you unlock it (article 42).
• clientHold / serverHold — the domain is suspended and won't resolve. Often due to non-payment or a verification issue.
• pendingTransfer — a transfer is in progress.
• pendingDelete — the domain is scheduled for deletion after expiry.
• redemptionPeriod — expired and recoverable for a fee (article 49).
• ok / active — everything is normal.
