A subdomain is a section of your site with its own address, like shop.yourdomain.co.za.
- Log in to cPanel.
- Go to Domains > Domains and click Create A New Domain, or use Subdomains in older versions.
- Enter the subdomain prefix (for example,
shop) and choose the parent domain. - Confirm the document root folder and click Submit.
Upload that subdomain's files to its folder.
Tip: Subdomains are great for separate sections — blog., shop., or staging. — without registering new domains.
