Regular scans catch infections early.

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Look in the Security section for a malware scanner (for example, ImunifyAV or Virus Scanner).
3. Open it and start a scan of your home directory or mail.
4. Review the results and clean or remove any flagged files.

Important: If malware is found, also follow the hacked-site steps (article 101): update everything, change all passwords, and restore from a clean backup. Contact support@hostingpartners.co.za if you're unsure how to clean a detected file.
