Save just one database — ideal before plugin updates or edits.
- From cPanel Backup: go to Files > Backup, and under Download a MySQL Database Backup, click the database name to download it.
- From phpMyAdmin: select the database and use Export (article 121).
Tip: Name your downloaded backups with the date (for example, wordpress-2026-06-20.sql) so you can find the right one to restore later.
