Suspend an account (for example, for non-payment) without deleting it.
- Log in to WHM.
- Go to Account Functions > Manage Account Suspension.
- Select the account.
- Click Suspend (optionally adding a reason) — or Unsuspend to restore it.
A suspended account's website and email stop working until you unsuspend it.
Tip: Suspension is reversible and keeps the client's data intact, making it the right tool for billing holds. Termination (article 183) deletes data and should be a last resort.
