Save a copy of your website files to your computer.

1. Log in to cPanel and go to Files > Backup.
2. Under Partial Backups > Download a Home Directory Backup, click Home Directory.
3. The download is a compressed archive of all your files.

Tip: Do this before any big change. To back up just your site (not email/other folders), you can instead zip public_html in File Manager (article 113) and download the zip.
