File Manager lets you manage your website files in the browser — no FTP software needed.
- Log in to cPanel.
- Go to Files > File Manager.
- You'll see your folders, with public_html holding your main website.
- Use the toolbar to Upload, Download, Create files/folders, Edit, Move, Copy, Rename, and Delete.
Tip: Click the Settings button (top-right) and enable Show Hidden Files to see files like .htaccess.
