How to restore your account to a previous date Print

Return your whole account to how it was on an earlier day.

  1. JetBackup (recommended): open JetBackup (article 163), choose Full Account Restore, pick the date, and restore.
  2. From your own backups: restore your files (article 158) and database (article 161) from copies taken on that date.
  3. If you can't find a suitable restore point, contact support@hostingpartners.co.za — we may be able to restore from a server backup.

Important: A full restore overwrites current data with the older version, so anything created since that date (new emails, orders, posts) will be lost. Back up the current state first if there's recent data you need to keep.
