Find out whether the name you want is free to register.
- Go to Domains > Register a New Domain in the client area, or use the search box on our website.
- Type the domain name, including the extension (for example,
yourbusiness.co.za). - Click Search.
- The results show whether it's available or taken, often with suggested alternatives.
Tip: If your first choice is taken, try a different extension — .co.za, .africa, .com, or .net — or a slight variation of the name.
